Before your next shoot, use this practical film insurance checklist to make sure you’re fully covered. Whether you’re filming a short, a TV ad, or a full-length feature, Kerry London helps producers tick all the right boxes.

Pre-production planning

Make sure you have the basics in place before your insurance is arranged.

  • Confirm final production schedule and budget
  • Secure permits and permissions (public locations, drone use, etc.)
  • Finalise cast, crew and equipment requirements
  • Note international filming or travel risks
  • Have insurance clauses in place for freelancers and suppliers
